This book was created working alongside Alexandra Villard de Borchgrave to bring her vision to reality. Gifted with permission to use images from the collections of the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, of the Smithsonian Institute, Alexandra wrote her poems in an attempt to reflect on events of 9/11 and bring comfort to those who suffered from the tragedy. This is the second book in her trilogy.
The production of the book consisted of considerable photoshop work to the images in order to restore their natural beauty which had been severely deteriorated over the ages, as well as to create attractive compositions as the backdrop to her words.
